Review Other Teams' Final Video Project The technology professional version of the video is covered very well with lots of information.   The presentation is mostly clear with minor issues with the microphone becoming fuzzy or not entirely picking up the sound.   The research seems of very high quality with lots of supporting evidence, facts, and dates.   The quality is not bad but I would say average.  The green screen effect on Zoom was having some difficulty detecting the subject which resulted in the subject blending in with the background fairly often.   This video was very interesting.  I have always wanted to learn what quantum computing is and how it works but I never knew where to start.  The video covers all the basics and then continues to dive deep into the subject to give a better understanding of what this topic is.  This video is appropriate for the technology professionals audience and all professionals wi...

Module 7

Part One: Our team, Divine Design, is doing the final video presentation on brain-computer interfaces.  We are using Discord to plan and organize the topics we will be talking about in the presentation.  The topics are divided up equally so no one has too much or too little work.  Google slides is being used to collaborate on the presentation materials.  Each member is recording their parts separately and then we will combine the separate recordings together using a video editor such as iMovie or an online editor. Part Two: This week focused on presentations and how to successfully prepare an entertaining one.  The video "Life After Death by PowerPoint" showed many examples of things to avoid when making a PowerPoint presentation.   Every word you are going to say during your presentation should not be included in your slides because it makes the slide overcrowded and hard to follow.   Also, if the text is too small not everyone will be able to re...

Module 6

Learned this week: This week started with researching how proper cover letters and resumes are made.  It is crucial to master this skill because it is the first form of interest you show your potential employer.  There are four steps to ensure your resume has maximum appeal to a potential employer.   Analyze the job description Create a list of accomplishments Compare your expertise with the skills required Be descriptive with your phrases Keeping these steps in mind while creating a resume will help you stand out from the competition.  Other things to consider are using a readable font that is not too big, attempting to keep your resume to one page, and don't start phrases with "my duties" or "my accomplishments." Work this week: Our final video project has started and the topic we chose is brain-computer interfaces.  We will use google slides to create the visuals and combine our separate recorded parts with a video editor.  Also, the peer revi...

Module 5

Part one: Support and Comment on Teammates' Goals Comments are linked below:     Teammate Comment 1     Teammate Comment 2 Part two: Possible Capstone Ideas This list will most likely change as the classes progress but these are three ideas that I have been thinking about. An app that splits the bill for you and a group A program that makes documents HIPAA compliment A game similar to Wordle but that can be played online with friends Part three: This Week's Learnings This week was the first official week of the ethics argument paper.  My outline was completed and I have started to put together the first draft.  An ethics argument contains many components; An issue, stakeholders, the argument question, the stakeholders' arguments to the question, and the position the writer is taking. The difference between an inference and an assumption was also made.  An inference is a conclusion that something is true because something else is true.  An as...
