Module 8

Review Other Teams' Final Video Project

The technology professional version of the video is covered very well with lots of information.  The presentation is mostly clear with minor issues with the microphone becoming fuzzy or not entirely picking up the sound.  The research seems of very high quality with lots of supporting evidence, facts, and dates.  The quality is not bad but I would say average.  The green screen effect on Zoom was having some difficulty detecting the subject which resulted in the subject blending in with the background fairly often.  This video was very interesting.  I have always wanted to learn what quantum computing is and how it works but I never knew where to start.  The video covers all the basics and then continues to dive deep into the subject to give a better understanding of what this topic is.  This video is appropriate for the technology professionals audience and all professionals will comprehend what is being presented.  All members of the team spoke during the presentation and the presentation was divided up equally among all members.

The topic seems well covered and provided some great examples of medical robots.  The presentation is very clear and appears each member of the group had a quality microphone.  The research seems high quality and provided a good explanation.  The video quality was great and I liked how there was video of the speaker as well as the slides.  It added more personality to the presentation.  The video and topic was definitely engaging.  It is fascinating just how much technology can assist in things like surgeries and purification.  The work load was divided up equally among the team members and appears everyone did their part.  This video was for the general public who may not know anything about medical device technology and I think it provided just enough information to keep the general public interested and engaged.

This topic of cybersecurity/cyberwarfare was covered extensively and provided all of the information necessary to understand the topic.  The presentation had clear vocals and also included subtitles which I thought was a fantastic idea.  The research was high quality and all seemed like a trusted source of information.  I was very impressed by the production quality of this video.  From the speaker to the B-roll to the content it was a very fun and well put together video.  Kudos to this video project.  Because the production was done so well this video was very interesting and kept the viewer wanting more.  The short video only had one speaker but the professional video made it apparent that every member of the team had equal share of work.  Both the short and professional video targeted the respective audience well and allowed for the content to be viewed by all ages and all professions.

Final Post:

This was a fun course that taught me a lot about writing, presenting, and creating a portfolio for myself.  I enjoyed all the assignments and discussions, they were just enough to allow the brain to think without being busy work or too much of a work load.  This presentation video project taught me many things about a topic that otherwise, I would not have researched.  It also prompted us to navigate the challenges of working with others on a substantially sized project.  I appreseate this class and am excited to continue this journey in the CSUMB CS Online program!
