Module 6

 Learned this week:

This week started with researching how proper cover letters and resumes are made.  It is crucial to master this skill because it is the first form of interest you show your potential employer.  There are four steps to ensure your resume has maximum appeal to a potential employer.
  1. Analyze the job description
  2. Create a list of accomplishments
  3. Compare your expertise with the skills required
  4. Be descriptive with your phrases
Keeping these steps in mind while creating a resume will help you stand out from the competition.  Other things to consider are using a readable font that is not too big, attempting to keep your resume to one page, and don't start phrases with "my duties" or "my accomplishments."

Work this week:

Our final video project has started and the topic we chose is brain-computer interfaces.  We will use google slides to create the visuals and combine our separate recorded parts with a video editor.  Also, the peer review for the ethics paper was due this week and I enjoyed reading the reviews as well as reading my teammate's papers.  A website was also made to house the information of all course descriptions in this program along with the projects and accomplishments from each course.
